We are seeking a multi-skilled CCTV Engineer to join the Clearway Technology team. This role is responsible for the safe installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of CCTV, access control, and ANPR systems across a range of commercial environments, including highways and construction sites. Working with the latest technologies, including high-definition IP cameras and infra-red thermal imaging, you will ensure systems are installed to a high standard and remain fully operational, supporting 24/7 remote monitoring by our NSI Gold accredited Alarm Receiving Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled engineer who enjoys working in varied environments and contributing to high-quality, safety‑critical technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, commission, service, and maintain CCTV, access control, and ANPR systems.
  • Diagnose faults and respond to maintenance and emergency callouts.
  • Work in line with Health & Safety standards, RAMS, and site rules.
  • Support installation projects and collaborate with engineers and subcontractors.
  • Complete accurate documentation and reporting.
  • Communicate professionally with clients and stakeholders.
  • Travel across the UK with flexibility for out-of-hours work.

Key Skills, Qualifications And Experience

  • Roads and Highways experience essential.
  • Working with and understanding method statements / works package plans.
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety requirements on highways or other deployable technology.
  • Background of Highway Technology, ideally across temporary CCTV solutions but training will be given.
  • Supervising 3rd parties/sub-contractors.
  • Computer literate.
  • CSCS or ECS desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills in English both verbal and written.
  • A full UK driving licence (minor points considered).

  • Positive & flexible attitude willing and capable of dealing with issues and queries in a positive, clear and transparent manner.
  • Punctual and reliable.
  • Able to prioritise and manage own workload.
