We are supporting a growing, fast-paced procurement company to recruit for a Category Manager for their 'impulse buy' division. This role can be based in either Surrey or London and would require 1 day per week for supplier visits, 2 days from the office and 2 days working from home.
Key Responsibilities for the Category Manager:
- Manage the full end to end processes for the impulse buy category (snacks & drinks)
- Forecasting mid and long term sales vs cost
- Analysing volume vs price, making educated commercial decisions to generate maximum profit
- Supplier management, including regular reviews of performance and KPI delivery
- Conducting supplier site visits 1 day per week, to manage relationships
Key Skills for the Category Manager:
- Experience at Managerial level is essential taking ownership of a category
- Commercially minded
