Job Description
We are working with a global organisation of 6000 users to support with the recruitment of a Server & Network Engineer. You will be supporting and managing the existing on prem network infrastructure and morderisation projects. This role is remote with rare office visits for team days or project kick offs. Key Responsibilities for the Server & Network Engineer: – Troubleshooting network issues and escalations from the infrastructure team- Ensuring security, performance and scalability of network solutions- Patching and Updates of servers and networks – Site to Site VPNs and Routing – Management of the WiFi with Meraki- Supporting with the zScaler configuration and deployment Essential Skills for the Server & Network Engineer: – Experience working within large scale enterprises of 1000+ users – Working experience of Cisco – Previous use of Meraki (or other WiFi) – Palo Alto (or other firewalls)- zScaler configuration and deployment experience – Use of monitoring tools, ideally, Solarwinds *Our client is unable to offer sponsorship for this position at this stage, you must have full working rights within the UK to be considered for this position* You will be subject to a credit and enhanced DBS check prior to starting within this role.
