Our client—an established organisation making a difference in the education and care space—is looking for an experienced Marketing & Communications Lead to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who can own the full marketing and communications function and shape how the organisation speaks to the world, both internally and externally.

About the Role:

As the Marketing & Communications Lead, you’ll take ownership of the organisation’s brand, voice, and engagement strategy. You’ll work closely with leadership, external partners, and stakeholders to develop and deliver integrated marketing campaigns, engaging content, and a strong online presence.

Key Responsibilities for the Marketing & Communications Lead:

  • Develop and lead the organisation’s marketing and communications strategy
  • Create compelling content across digital platforms, social media, and traditional channels
  • Manage and optimise the company website and digital user experience
  • Oversee brand consistency, tone of voice, and visual identity across all materials
  • Collaborate across departments to support internal communications and employee engagement
  • Manage advertising and social campaigns, analysing performance metrics to inform strategy
  • Supervise a freelance design consultant and provide brand toolkits for wider teams
  • Evolve brand guidelines and creative assets in line with growth and goals

Key skills for the Marketing & Communications Lead:

  • Proven experience leading both internal and external communications functions
  • Strong digital skills—confident with CMS platforms, social media management, and analytics
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and video editing tools
  • Experience in the education, SEND, care, or not-for-profit sectors is desirable
  • Familiarity with Mac systems is a bonus
  • Due to the location, access to a car is recommended
