Our client, an established manufacturing company, is currently recruiting a Planning Manager to join their planning and operations team. The Planning Manager will be responsible for developing and managing the overall production plan and S&OP to balance demand, capacity, and inventory, ensuring efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities for the Planning Manager
- Develop and maintain the production schedule to meet customer demand and business goals.
- Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations to align supply and demand planning.
- Monitor capacity constraints and proactively adjust plans to optimize resource utilization.
- Lead S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and provide accurate forecasts.
- Ensure ERP/MRP systems are updated with accurate planning data.
- Drive continuous improvement in planning processes, systems, and reporting.
- Provide leadership and guidance to junior planners and scheduling teams.
