Our client is currently recruiting for a Business Analyst Manager to lead within the banking technology analyst function. As Business Analyst Manager, you will shape and lead the Bank Technology Analyst function, building capability and driving excellence in requirements management, solution assurance and business analysis practices. This is a hybrid role, working 2 days onsite per week.

Key Responsibilities for the Business Analyst Manager

  • Lead, coach and develop the Bank Technology Analyst function
  • Define and embed analysis standards, methods and quality controls across the technology portfolio
  • Elicit, analyse and assure business, functional, non-functional and technical requirements
  • Provide assurance and challenge of solution designs, requirements and third-party deliverables
  • Ensure requirements, solutions and testing remain aligned to agreed business outcomes
  • Represent the Analyst function within delivery and governance forums, providing expert advice and recommendations
  • Drive continuous improvement, innovation and the adoption of AI-enabled analysis capabilities

Key Experience for the Business Analyst Manager

  • Experience leading, coaching or developing Business Analysts and/or Systems Analysts
  • Strong experience gathering, analysing and assuring business, functional, non-functional and technical requirements
  • Experience within working with and communicating with third parties, ensuring assurance around deliverables
  • Passionate about improving how technology solutions are designed, assured and delivered
  • Confidence reviewing and challenging solution designs and third-party supplier deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with business outcomes
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, delivery teams and external partners
  • Strong understanding of requirements traceability, governance and quality assurance practices
  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
  • A proactive, collaborative and continuous improvement mindset, with a focus on delivering high-quality outcomes
