Our client, an established engineering and manufacturing company, is currently recruiting a Trainee CNC Operator to join their precision engineering team. The Trainee CNC Operator will be responsible for assisting more senior engineers in the setup and operation of high precision CNC machines.

Key Responsibilities for the Trainee CNC Operator:

  • Assist in the setup and operation of CNC machines (routers, lathes, grinding and milling machines).
  • Learn to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
  • Support the production of precision components to tight tolerances.
  • Perform basic machine maintenance and cleaning tasks.
  • Follow health and safety procedures and company policies at all times.
  • Work closely with experienced machinists and supervisors to develop skills.
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed and report any issues.

Skills Required for the Trainee CNC Operator:
