Our client is currently recruiting for an Electronic Service Repair Engineer on a permanent basis. The Service Repair Engineer is responsible for the inspection, diagnosis, repair, maintenance, and testing of Audio Visual and LED display equipment.
Key Responsibilities for the Electronic Service Repair Engineer:
- Diagnose, fault find and carry out electrical and mechanical repairs on LED displays and a wide range of professional AV equipment.
- Perform board level and component level repairs, including manual soldering and hot air rework techniques.
- Conduct preventative maintenance inspections to minimise equipment failure and downtime.
- Carry out firmware updates, configuration checks, calibration, and performance testing where required.
- Undertake minor mechanical fabrication and modifications using workshop machinery (e.g., milling, drilling equipment).
Key Experience for the Electronic Service Repair Engineer:
- Strong electrical fault-finding and diagnostic skills (Preferably LED).
- Competent in soldering and PCB fault tracing.
- Strong understanding of electrical safety standards.
