Job Description
We are looking for a Solutions Consultant to join our growing EMEA Asset Owner team in Paris or London - insurers, mutuelles, institutions de prévoyance, Caisse des Dépôts and related public investment bodies, and pension reserve funds, front to back office.
In this client-facing, pre-sales role you will be central to how CWAN wins and onboards complex asset management mandates — owning the technical and written deliverables that move opportunities through the sales cycle.
You will partner with prospective clients to uncover the pain points in their current operating model and demonstrate, clearly and credibly, how the Clearwater solution solves those problems and adds measurable value.
Alongside this you will build and refine the sales resources, documentation and standards the wider EMEA team relies on, continually looking for ways to strengthen our proposition.
The ideal candidate is a creative, self-starting problem-solver who earns the trust of internal and external stakeholders alike, combining strong technical fluency with the commercial instinct to turn complex requirements into compelling solutions and a familiarity with the regulatory environment (ACPR, Solvency II, AMF) will be a strong advantage.
Responsibilities
Work with prospective clients to understand their current infrastructure, business requirements and operational challenges, and articulate how Clearwater's solution enhances their operating model.
- Lead the pre-sales workstream on complex software sales, from discovery through to solution design and handover.
- Develop deep, demonstrable expertise across Clearwater's products and the value they deliver.
- Communicate Clearwater's core value proposition persuasively, through written documentation, demonstrations and live presentations.
- Own the completion, organisation and coordination of prospect RFPs and DDQs, ensuring high-quality, accurate and timely responses.
- Conduct the research and preparation that underpins high-impact sales meetings and demos.
- Coordinate resources across Clearwater to support sales efforts and a smooth transition of new clients to our Global Delivery team.
- Solve complex, abstract problems and develop creative solutions to non-standard client requirements.

- Relevant experience in Asset Management, Asset Owner, Insurance, Investment Management, Fin Tech, Investment Accounting, or Investment Operations.
- Commitment to agility, continuous learning, improvement, and operational excellence.
- Strong data analysis skills.

- Excellent attention to detail and strong documentation skills.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities.

- Familiarity with the French regulatory environment (ACPR, Solvency II, AMF) is advantageous.
- Good knowledge of financial services and fixed income securities; a professional qualification such as the CFA is preferable.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present and articulate complex propositions clearly.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
- Strong technical skills, including Excel and the ability to quickly become proficient in in-house software solutions.
