A Product Manager designs, develops and manages activities for a specific product or group of products from product definition and planning through production and go to market. The Product Manager is responsible for defining the roadmap for their product(s) that is required to hit bookings, client NPS, and gross margin targets associated with their component. The product manager will work with internal stakeholders, clients, and prospects to define new product capability requirements to drive organic growth. The product manager works closely with their development teams to ensure that new capabilities are built and brought to market. The Product Manager is also responsible for testing and deploying new capabilities with clients and evangelizing future growth to a broader set of CWAN clients and prospects.
Responsibilities:
- Work with clients, prospects, subject matter experts, sales leaders and other product managers to define a product strategy and roadmap including prioritising work and providing business justification for decisions.
- Build deep expertise in client problems, personas and the value of our solutions.
- Generate new ideas that drive growth and customer satisfaction specifically for the regulatory products in the EMEA market.
- Keep a pulse on the EMEA regulatory market including changing regulations.
- Identify and help understand and document the requirements for development projects to ensure the product is built right.
- Guide and challenge Product Managers on roadmap priorities. Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about development projects and the value they provide.
- Collaborate with Marketing to create product marketing content such as demos, sales collateral, website content, blog articles and commercial decks.
- Enable sales, client services, and operations team on new product functionality and capabilities.
- Measure and drive product adoption, usage, and stability on a monthly basis.
- Evaluate, mentor and develop product managers dedicated to the EMEA market space.
- Willingness and flexibility of working with colleagues across time zones and travel ~20% of the time to build and mentor team, coordinate with sales/stakeholders across markets, be visible in the market, and build relationships with prospects/clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or technical domains like computer science OR equivalent professional experience.
- 5+ years managing product management teams with demonstrated experience in establishing and driving product roadmaps.
- Experience working cross-functionally with engineering and sales team leaders to balance feature delivery and technical investment.
- Demonstrable knowledge of regulatory reporting within EMEA such as Solvency II, German Regulatory Reporting, and ESG. Chartered Accountant (CA) or equivalent is a plus.
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and project management skills. Samples will be helpful across written documents/blogs, demo videos, or public speaking videos at conferences or training.
- Excellent team and relationship building abilities, with both internal and external parties (engineers, business stakeholders, partners, etc.).
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence via diplomacy and tact.
- Proven experience leading and delivering on ambitious goals.
- Experience working with executive management.
- Multilingual skills preferred.
