As the Regulatory Reporting Product Manager, you will play a critical role as we continue our expansion globally. You will help maintain a product strategy and roadmap based on market information and internal collaboration.
As a Product Manager within our Regulatory Product division, you will work closely with sales, clients, prospects, and regulatory organizations to expand your knowledge of the market, investment regulatory needs by jurisdictions, and help manage the regulatory priorities. You will keep up with regulatory changes, interpret regulatory guidance and come out with requirements for the engineering team to implement within Clearwater System. You will also work closely with other Product Managers and development teams to achieve your vision.
Candidate should be able to set up product strategy based on understanding of business priorities and market and executing on that strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Work with the Global sales team, clients, prospects, and other product managers to define a product strategy and roadmap including prioritizing work and providing justification for decisions.
- Gain a deep understanding of the customer requirements, identify, and fill product gaps, and generate new ideas that drive growth and customer satisfaction.
- Follow and interpret updates in the regulatory guidance and document the requirements for development projects.
- Work with development teams to ensure there is a clear understanding of user needs for development projects.
- Communicate with internal and external stakeholders about development projects and the value they provide.
- Collaborate with Marketing for product releases and produce release notes.
- Train users on new product functionality and capabilities.
- Being transparent about prioritization and the roadmap process.
- Using evidence-based decision making to drive prioritization Ability to say “no” and explain why in terms stakeholders understand.
- Considerable empathy and curiosity with a focus on the customer.
Requirements:
- Knowledge of investment accounting and/or investment reporting i.e. Solvency II.
- Possibly trained as CA/CFA in Practice with Banking/Investment Management experience.
- Experience in working with regulatory groups, clients, and interpreting regulations.
- Exemplary interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
- Excellent team and relationship building abilities, with both internal and external parties (engineers, business stakeholders, partners, etc.).
- Ability to work well under pressure, multitask, and maintain keen attention to detail.
- Strong leadership skills, including ability to influence via diplomacy and tact.
