We’re looking for a Technical Energy Advisor to join our fast-growing team. What exactly will you do?
- Identify and engage with potential clients, maximising business opportunities within designated sectors.
- Travel for client site visits and conduct pre-sales surveys/audits.
- Help with the onboarding and training of new starters.
- Present and demonstrate how company products and services meet client needs in terms of efficiency, cost savings, and compliance.
- Develop and maintain strong connections with business clients to gain an understanding of their sustainability objectives.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure mutually beneficial agreements.
- Prepare detailed and bespoke client quotations for Energy Management System (EMS) solutions, aligned with site requirements and energy performance objectives, incorporating energy efficiency measures, system design, and client specifications.
What we’re looking for
- Electrical engineering knowledge.
- Ability to survey site electrical infrastructures to determine most appropriate solutions for energy monitoring.
- Full understanding and ability to analyse site electrical schematics and EICRs.
- Problem-solving skills with respect to electrical infrastructure on site.
- Ability to liaise confidently with site engineers and maintenance teams.
- Understanding of other utilities metering such as gas, water, steam, heat meters.
Additional perks
- Bachelor’s degree in Energy Management, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or any relevant field.
- Previous sales experience, within the Energy Management/Sustainability sector.
- Onsite experience as an Engineer/Electrician.
