Job Summary
As a CCTV Operator at Clearview Security Ltd, you will play a crucial role in monitoring and safeguarding our clients\β properties. You will be responsible for overseeing surveillance footage, identifying suspicious activities, and responding to incidents in real-time. Your keen observational skills and attention to detail will be vital in maintaining a secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor live CCTV feeds to detect and report any suspicious behaviour or security breaches
Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, coordinating with law enforcement or onsite security teams as necessary
Maintain detailed logs of incidents and actions taken during shifts
Conduct regular checks and maintenance of CCTV equipment to ensure optimal functionality
Assist in the preparation of detailed reports on security incidents and surveillance activities
Collaborate effectively with team members and other departments to enhance overall security operations
Stay updated on industry best practices and security protocols to continually improve and adapt strategies
Qualifications
A valid SIA license: Door Supervisor and CCTV badge holder preferred.
Previous experience as a CCTV Operator or in a similar security role is preferred
Familiarity with CCTV systems and alarm monitoring software
Strong observational and analytical skills with the ability to think critically under pressure
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility to work various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
