Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established independent estate agency based in Trowbridge, who are looking to welcome a Lettings Negotiator to their friendly and supportive team on a maternity cover contract starting in early September. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable business with a strong local presence, where you'll gain exposure to every stage of the lettings process while working alongside an experienced and collaborative team.

Our client is looking for an organised and customer-focused Lettings Negotiator to provide maternity cover within their busy office. This is a varied position where no two days are the same, offering the opportunity to build valuable experience across lettings administration, property management and customer service. Working Monday to Friday with no weekend work, you'll be responsible for supporting landlords and tenants throughout the tenancy journey, from arranging viewings through to move-in, whilst ensuring a smooth and professional service at every stage.

Key Responsibilities
  • Liaise with landlords and tenants on a daily basis
  • Arrange and coordinate property maintenance and repairs
  • Book and process routine property inspections
  • Assist with lettings compliance and organise any required remedial works
  • Arrange and conduct property viewings
  • Progress properties from offer agreed through to move-in
  • Prepare and process tenancy documentation
  • Coordinate key handovers for new tenants
  • Deliver excellent customer service throughout the tenancy process
  • Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
  • Support the wider team with general lettings administration
Skills and Qualifications
  • Previous experience within lettings, estate agency, property management or a similar customer-facing role would be advantageous
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a busy environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and computer systems
  • Professional and personable approach when dealing with customers
  • Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential
  • A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn (full training provided)
