Role Overview
This role is ideal for someone who thrives on business development, values autonomy, and is confident in securing new landlord instructions. You’ll play a key role in expanding the managed lettings portfolio, acting as the go-to expert for valuations and landlord engagement. Collaboration with the tenancy management and front-office teams will ensure smooth onboarding and property handovers.
• Drive new business activity by securing rental appraisals, winning instructions, and onboarding new landlords
• Conduct and carry out market appraisals and sign ups
• Develop relationships with both warm and cold leads to convert opportunities into signed business
• Represent the business at landlord events and workshops, offering guidance and promoting services
• Liaise with internal teams to ensure a seamless transition from valuation to let
• Create high-quality marketing materials and property listings
• Assist in matching tenants to properties and guiding clients through the tenant recommendation process
• Report into the management team and contribute to strategy and growth discussions
• Previous experience in residential lettings, with a strong grasp of compliance and the lettings lifecycle
• Confident in conducting valuations and securing instructions
• Excellent interpersonal and sales skills
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Highly organised, self-sufficient, and results-oriented
• Comfortable working under pressure and managing a varied workload
• Full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle
Senior Lettings Valuer Salary & Benefits
• Basic salary of £40,000OTE £50,000+ through performance-based bonuses• Full-time, Monday-Friday, 9:00am-5:30pm
• Funded training and development opportunities (including support for qualifications)
• Mileage allowance for business travel
