Role Overview

Senior Lettings Negotiator: This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lettings Negotiator to join a fun, driven office and play a key part in expanding the lettings portfolio. You’ll be working with a strong team of Property Managers, with access to ARLA-funded training, career progression to Lettings Manager, and the chance to eventually lead your own team of Negotiators. Responsibilities

  • Conduct valuations, attend viewings (if needed), and manage negotiations between landlords and tenants
  • Build strong relationships with landlords and convert new business opportunities
  • Registering applicants and matching them to available properties
  • Negotiating offers and letting agreements
  • Oversee the lettings process from valuation through to property management handover
  • Supporting the growth of the managed portfolio
  • Collaborating with the wider lettings and property management team
  • Proactively develop and execute strategies to increase our managed property portfolio
  • Contribute ideas and feedback to support marketing campaigns and landlord outreach
  • Ensure full legal compliance with current lettings legislation including right to rent, deposit protection, licensing, and safety standards
  • Act as a key point of contact for new and existing landlords
  • Provide knowledgeable, accurate advice and maintain high levels of communication

Skills and Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in residential lettings
  • Strong knowledge of current lettings legislation
  • Proven ability to convert leads and generate new business
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence and access to own car
  • ARLA qualification preferred – or willingness to study (training funded)
  • Organised, proactive and motivated to progress

Package and Benefits

  • £25,000 – £27,000 basic salary with an OTE £45,000+
  • Full-time role, Monday to Friday, 9am–6pm
  • 1 in 2 Saturdays, with a day off in lieu (10am – 4pm)
