Our client is a multi-branch agency offering a full suite of property services including sales, lettings, mortgages, and conveyancing. Known for their supportive team culture and long-standing reputation, this is an excellent opportunity to join their busy Downend office (BS16).

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Conveyancing Assistant with prior experience to join a fast-paced and supportive legal team. Working closely with an experienced conveyancer, you’ll play a key role in ensuring transactions progress smoothly while delivering a high standard of client care. This role offers exposure to the full conveyancing process and clear progression opportunities within a stable and growing business.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the office conveyancer with day-to-day tasks
  • Handle client enquiries via phone, email, and correspondence
  • Provide regular updates to clients, estate agents, and stakeholders
  • Order property searches
  • Complete and submit Stamp Duty Land Tax forms
  • Prepare and submit Land Registry applications
  • Draft and amend legal documents and letters
  • Review contracts and supporting documentation
  • Process enquiries on sale transactions
  • Liaise with law firms, estate agents, and third parties
  • Ensure compliance with AML and fraud prevention procedures
  • Support continuous improvement of internal processes and systems
Skills and Qualifications:
  • Previous conveyancing experience is essential
