Company Overview: Clearview Recruitment are delighted to be working with a growing property management business with an established presence in Scotland and a developing presence in Bristol. Working predominantly with property investors, including overseas clients, they provide a comprehensive property management and lettings service across their portfolio. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of their Bristol portfolio.
Role Overview: This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Property Manager looking for autonomy and the opportunity to take on a varied role within a growing business. You'll manage a portfolio of up to 50 properties across the Bristol area, predominantly residential buy-to-let, with some commercial exposure. Alongside the day-to-day management of the portfolio, you'll also take ownership of the lettings process, managing new lets and working closely with landlords, tenants and the wider team. The role is fully remote, with regular contact with the wider Edinburgh team through virtual meetings and regular visits to the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage your own portfolio of residential and some commercial properties throughout the tenancy lifecycle
- Act as the main point of contact for landlords and tenants, building strong relationships
- Coordinate maintenance, repairs, contractors and property inspections
- Manage move-ins, move-outs, renewals and general tenancy matters
- Take ownership of the lettings process, including marketing properties, viewings and progressing applications
- Liaise with the wider lettings and compliance teams to ensure a smooth service
- Carry out routine property inspections and proactively identify issues
- Maintain accurate property records and inspection reports
- Handle tenant and landlord queries professionally and efficiently
- Support the continued growth of the Bristol portfolio and wider business where required
Skills & Qualifications:
- Previous experience managing a residential property portfolio
- Experience within lettings would be highly desirable
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
- Proactive and solutions focused approach
- Comfortable using property management software and mobile technology
- ARLA Propertymark qualification is desirable, although full funding will be provided
- Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle is required
Package & Benefits:
- Basic salary £30,000 - £33,000 DOE
