Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a Criminal Solicitor looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive legal practice. You'll manage your own varied caseload, represent clients throughout criminal proceedings and work closely with an experienced team committed to delivering exceptional legal services.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied caseload of criminal law matters
- Represent and advise clients throughout criminal proceedings
- Attend police stations to advise clients where required
- Represent clients in Magistrates' and Crown Court proceedings
- Draft legal documentation, witness statements and correspondence
- Prepare case bundles and court documentation
- Provide legal advice in person, via telephone and video conferencing
- Build strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional legal advice
- Work closely with solicitors, paralegals and support staff
- Maintain accurate case records
- Achieve a target of 6 billable hours per day
- Participate in regular file reviews and compliance procedures
Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified Solicitor
- 2-5 years' Post Qualification Experience (PQE)
- Previous Criminal Law experience
- Excellent advocacy and communication skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Ability to independently manage a varied caseload
- Professional, enthusiastic and client-focused approach
- Police Station Accreditation or Duty Solicitor status advantageous (if applicable)
