Role Overview
This is an excellent opportunity for a Conveyancing Solicitor looking to develop their career within a progressive and supportive legal practice. You will manage your own varied caseload, handling residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion while working closely with clients, agents, lenders and other legal professionals.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a varied residential conveyancing caseload, including sales, purchases, transfers and remortgages.
- Build strong and professional relationships with clients throughout the conveyancing process.
- Communicate proactively with clients, solicitors, estate agents and other key stakeholders.
- Progress matters efficiently and professionally, with a focus on achieving positive outcomes for clients.
- Draft and review contract packages.
- Raise and respond to enquiries.
- Submit and review appropriate property searches.
- Prepare title, mortgage and search reports.
- Act on behalf of mortgage lenders where required.
- Conduct exchanges of contracts and agree transfer deeds.
- Ensure key dates are monitored, particularly in relation to auction matters and new-build developments.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case management systems and client records.
- Ensure all files comply with internal processes, procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor internal systems to ensure matters are progressed regularly and efficiently.
- Collaborate with the wider Conveyancing Department to deliver a seamless service to clients.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail when preparing legal documentation and completing forms.
- Work effectively under pressure while managing competing deadlines and priorities.
- Qualified Solicitor with a current Practising Certificate.
- Previous experience within a conveyancing environment.
- Experience managing clients and a caseload.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently while contributing effectively to a wider team.
- Professional, courteous and client-focused approach.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and electronic case management systems.
- Law Degree.
- Further training or qualifications relevant to conveyancing.
- Experience using HM Land Registry systems.
- Knowledge of residential conveyancing procedures and terminology.
- Experience acting for mortgage lenders.
- Experience working with legal technology and electronic filing systems.
Package & Benefits
- Salary: £60,000 - £70,000 depending on experience
