Our buy side client is seeking multiple senior software engineers with Order Management System experience for their front office group. Fantastic opportunities to join a well known, respected firm in a highly visible and impactful role.
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and sustain enterprise-grade systems emphasizing uptime, resilience, and optimal performance characteristics.
- Drive the order and execution management system modernization effort by delivering performant, low-latency software solutions that adapt to evolving institutional requirements.
- Establish standardization approaches that enhance operational visibility and diagnostic capabilities for support personnel, working closely with these teams to automate routine maintenance activities and free capacity for forward-looking initiatives.
- Collaborate with DevOps engineering teams to establish mature, repeatable deployment processes with appropriate controls and automation.
Experience
- Minimum 10 years software development experience, including at least 5 years building technology for investment management or capital markets firms; asset management background preferred.
- Deep technical proficiency in C# programming and SQL database technologies.
- Mastery of software engineering lifecycle practices and development frameworks.
- Comprehensive knowledge of capital markets structure, financial products, and market data ecosystems.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, Finance, or equivalent technical discipline.
