About The Role
We’re looking for a Water Hygiene Technician to join our growing compliance team, delivering essential Legionella prevention and control services across a range of sectors, including housing associations, care homes, charities, education, and hospitality. This is a field-based role with travel across England and occasional travel to Scotland & Wales. You’ll be responsible for managing your own monthly site schedule, completing all required water hygiene tasks and documentation to maintain compliance for our clients.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Carry out temperature monitoring, flushing, descaling, cleaning, and sampling in line with ACoP L8 and HSG274 guidance
- Ensure timely completion of routine tasks across assigned client sites
- Accurately complete electronic job sheets and compliance logs
- Identify and escalate any non-compliances, failures, or issues that require remedial works
- Liaise with the office team to support remedial quoting and follow-up
- Follow company and site-specific health & safety protocols at all times
- Represent the business professionally on-site and during customer interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in water hygiene, Legionella control, or related field (preferred)
- Understanding of compliance tasks including monitoring, sampling, and basic remedial activity
- A proactive, self-managing attitude with excellent attention to detail
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
- Experience using compliance tracking platforms such as ZetaSafe (preferred)
- Strong communication and time management skills
