About The Role
We are looking for a Ventilation Compliance Engineer, based in Scotland, with occasional travel to England when required.
This role will focus on delivering ventilation compliance services across a range of client sites, ensuring systems are safe, compliant, and performing as intended.
You will be hands-on in both inspection and remedial works, working closely with internal teams and customers to maintain high compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Ventilation Compliance & Testing
- Carry out ventilation compliance inspections and reporting in line with current regulations.
- Complete fire damper testing, ensuring accurate documentation and reporting of results.
- Undertake fan surveys and assessments to evaluate system performance.
- Inspect, test, and work on air handling units (AHUs).
- Support the delivery of required remedial works.
- Remedials & Site Works
- Carry out ventilation remedial works where required.
- Support improvements to existing ventilation systems to ensure compliance and efficiency.
- Work safely on-site, following company procedures and health & safety requirements.
- Communicate findings clearly with clients and internal teams.
Essential Experience

- Proven experience in ventilation compliance and reporting.
- Fire damper testing experience.
- Experience carrying out ventilation remedials.
- Knowledge of fan surveys and air handling units.
- Air conditioning awareness or practical experience.
