To audit ADA accommodations and the work of CRH teams to assure ADA service delivery including subcontractors obligations to deliver services to ensure services are delivered to the relevant statutory and contractual standards. To apply audit methodologies to evaluate and ensure assurance work carried out by the ADA Operations Team and Sub-contractors including Inspections Officers is thorough and in line with policies and guidelines identifying risks and recommending mitigation strategies.
Essential Requirements
- Extensive travel will be involved, so successful applicant must hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence with access to own vehicle.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular sample desktop audits of ADA accommodations, Initial Large Sites and services inspected by Inspections Officers at least once a month ensuring to visit sufficient volume of varying types of accommodations as assigned by the Senior Auditor.
- Provide detailed audit reports to the Senior Auditor and Senior Inspectors in accordance with internal policies and procedures to include recommendations for any areas of improvement.
- Carry out routine audit visits to Accommodation and Sub-contractors offices assigned to you by the Senior Auditor and raise non-conformances in accordance with company guidelines.
- Conduct audits of the extent to which inspectors have verified accommodations and Sub-contractors Housing Officers are clear on the requirements and standards for services to be provided to service users.
- Manage and audit the ADA estate including sampling desktop audits of CRH ADA Inspections Officers reports to identify any gaps in services delivery for improvements.
- Conduct quarterly visits to ADA Sub-contractors Offices to conduct and verify compliance issues, and to observe the functionality and adequacy of their quality management system specifically relating to the management and recording of AASC data.
- To interrogate CRH CCMS and other Sub-contractors systems pertaining to the ASSC Contract and verify Sub-contractors reports or records to verify compliance in line with Statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Ensure all items within property are replaced and repaired as required in line with inventory procedure liaising with the ADA Teams to facilitate subcontractor compliance with contractual requirements.
- Arrange periodic joint visits with the ADA Inspections Team including Sub-contractors Housing Officers, to ADA accommodations as part of an on-field audit and inspections oversight process.
- Conduct a review of compliance documents, any actions to meet recommendations detailed in such documents and reports of previous inspections to identify any gaps.
- Audit all services and service areas and inspect a minimum of 5% of rooms within an accommodation to identify gaps and inform possible areas of best practice or developmental areas for the relevant inspectors or inspections process.
- Collaborate with CRH Teams to track and resolve audit issues, ensuring timely remediation.
- Prepare detailed audit reports to include recommendations on areas of improvement for company guidelines and processes.
- Facilitate and attend inspections or audits of accommodations in the portfolio by UKVI and other statutory bodies as directed by the Senior Auditor and senior management.
- Conduct pre-audit of proposed accommodations assigned to you for suitability prior to go live by reviewing all building compliance documentation i.e., Standard Operating Procedures, Fire Risk Assessments, Gas, Electric, Legionella certificate etc.
- Ensure new and existing accommodations have been set up for optimum utilisation in accordance with contractual provisions and UKVI guidelines.
- Sign off any proposed accommodations as compliant and ready to go-live following pre-audit checks.
Support for Service Users
- Assess previous inspection reports and activities to review the effectiveness of ADA teams including Sub-contractors Housing Officers actions aimed at:
- Ensuring adequate stocks of correct notice board documentation/booklets are being proactively maintained and kept up to date and are in line with the contract requirements.
- Reviewing the induction process and sign posting procedures and service delivery for Service Users supported to register with doctors and schools if they have children of statutory school age are in line with the requirements of the AASC.
- Reviewing the ADA team and Sub-contractors Housing Officers reporting of Incident Reports are in line with the relevant process and standards require, identifying gaps in the reporting standards and ensuring any outstanding incident reports are raised.
- Sampling audits to identify non-conformances in the quality management system of adherence to the required standards as outlined in the Service Level Agreement for the service delivery of the ADA management of Service Users.
- Interrogate by audit samplings of the Dispersal and Move On records to identify gaps and make recommendation on best practices to facilitate quicker responses enabling staff are acting in accordance with the contract to move SU’s out of the accommodation, no later than the last day as detailed within UKVI letter.
- Ensuring staff are aware and implement the necessary process to always maintain SUS health and safety.
- Ensuring by sampling audits that appropriate property related certification and documentation is produced and recorded accurately.
- Complete a 5% audited number of welfares checks per month implementing audit guidelines as a means of assuring the process.
- Work in partnership with the Safeguarding Team to identify best practices in safeguarding directives that can be cascaded to the ADA team and Sub-contractors Officials, to enhance effective safeguarding service delivery of Service Users.
- Work in partnership with ADA accommodation team, and subcontractors to ensure recommendations from UKVI Inspections and FRA recommendations are followed up through to completion, as assigned by the Senior Auditors.

- Work closely with your line manager and team members.
- Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required by the Senior Auditor.
- Supporting team members and provide on-the-job training as directed by the Senior Manager.
- Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager.
