Hours of work: 40 hours per week - Monday - Friday, 5am - 1.30pm (pending any additional overtime due to traffic).
Salary: £31,699.20 per annum
This role is based at Logistics in Swindon but requires mobile cover in any of the regions within the Clearsprings Group. You will be delivering and installing white goods, inventory, and furnishings to properties and reporting directly to the team leader.
The day‑to‑day work involves:
- Completing your job sheet efficiently.
- Maintaining a professional image when interacting with Housing Officers and Service Users.
Procedures
- Liaising with Housing Officers to ensure deliveries are done on time.
- Notify the team leader immediately if you see anything which could be considered dangerous within the property.
- Deliver, assemble (as necessary), and install all goods in accordance with the company’s internal procedures.
- Ensure that you leave all properties safe and clean.
Connect and Collaborate
- Work closely with your line manager and team members.
- Collaborate with others, attending meetings as required.
- Support team members and provide on‑the‑job training.
- Provide cover for other staff as agreed by line manager.
- Maintain regular liaison with Housing Officers.

- Keep up to date with all written and verbal communications (i.e. emails/messages/calls).
- Ensure all records are maintained and kept up to date according to company policies and procedures.
- Ensure list of jobs are completed to a high standard.
- Notify the team leader on site if you are unable to complete any job you are requested to do.
- Have responsibility for all company equipment where applicable.

- Monitor own work levels, progress and development in the role.
- Undertake all core learning and development programmes as required.
- Undertake relevant learning according to agreed Personal Development Plan.

- Maintain a good understanding of the legislation of the contract.
- Ensure completed jobs are communicated back to management.
- Document and feedback non completed defects to management.
- No discretion to deviate from the company’s internal procedures without specific authority from the team leader or, in the team leader’s absence, the Transport/Logistics Manager.
- Return completed paperwork to the team leader as directed and requested.
- Provide cover for line manager during annual leave, dealing with emails.
- Have the capability and understanding of using emails and CCMS to acknowledge dispersals when they come through.
