We're seeking a dynamic and strategically-minded Head of Delivery to champion our project delivery excellence and drive the growth of our Edinburgh operations. This isn't just about managing projects; it's about shaping the delivery strategy, nurturing high-performing teams, and ensuring we consistently exceed client expectations. You'll be pivotal in building a thriving delivery function that underpins our commitment to transforming businesses through cutting-edge technology.

Champion Exceptional Client Delivery:

  • Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery across all Edinburgh-based projects, fostering strong client satisfaction and long-term partnerships.

Build and Nurture High-Performing Teams:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop our Squad Managers and delivery teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and excellence.
  • Craft and communicate a clear vision for the Edinburgh delivery division, aligning its objectives with the broader company strategy and driving innovation.
  • Oversee the effective collaboration and communication between multiple project squads, ensuring a cohesive and efficient approach to project delivery.

Optimise Resource Management:

  • Evaluate and strategically allocate resources across squads, considering skills, capacity, and project needs to maximise efficiency and project success.
  • Serve as a key point of contact for senior stakeholders, providing insightful updates on delivery performance, strategic initiatives, and alignment with company goals.

Proactively Manage Risks and Opportunities:

  • Identify and mitigate potential risks whilst capitalising on opportunities to enhance the delivery division's performance and outcomes.

Leverage Data for Continuous Improvement:

  • Utilise analytics and performance data to gain insights into project and team effectiveness, driving continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Champion and manage change initiatives that impact the delivery division, contributing to the overall evolution and success of ClearSky Logic.

Provide Executive-Level Reporting:

  • Identify Commercial Opportunities: Proactively identify and nurture potential upsell opportunities within existing client engagements and flag these to the commercial team.
  • Foster Innovation and Best Practices: Stay abreast of industry trends, delivery methodologies, and technological advancements, advocating for the adoption of best practices within the division.

A proven track record of success in a senior delivery leadership role within a technology services or software development environment. Demonstrable experience in leading and developing high-performing delivery teams and fostering a positive team culture. Strong understanding of various project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels. Experience in managing budgets, resources, and project financials. A proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem-solving and risk management.
