What the job involves
- The ClearScore Commercial Team play a unique role in shaping user experiences.
- Responsible for partner relationships and commercial strategy, this team are on the front lines of innovation and play a key role in determining how to deploy ClearScore resources across our talented Product, Tech and Analytics teams to make the ClearScore marketplace the best place to shop for credit products.
- As a Commercial Executive, you will play a key role in building deep relationships with some of the most exciting fintechs and credit providers in the UK, as well as building a deep, data-driven understanding of the drivers of value in the marketplace.
- Reporting directly into the Credit Cards Commercial Manager, you will work closely with the product team and lending partners on continual optimisation of the product and the conversion funnel, manage commercial relationships with existing partners and negotiate deals with new partners.
- You will also dive deep into our platform's rich data to derive key business and new initiative insights, produce reports and spot trends.
- Day to day contact for our panel of Cards partners, covering marketplace performance, revenue reporting and ongoing initiatives.
- Dive into the rich ClearScore dataset and produce analytics that unlock insight for partners and collaborate with them on the innovation of new propositions.
- Build deep relationships with our lending partners with the goal of understanding their ambitions and challenges.
- Work collaboratively to optimise the availability and accessibility of their products for ClearScore users.
- Negotiate commercial arrangements with new/existing partners to ensure value created by our partnerships is appropriately shared.
- Support the wider Commercial Team on Tech resource prioritisation by forecasting the value of new initiatives for ClearScore users, partners, and revenue.
- Work with the Product team to optimise the marketplace experience for ClearScore users.
- Create briefs for the Analytics team, seeking to answer data-related questions that get to the next level of detail in our data.
- Co-ordinate with the Marketing and CRM team on the creation, partner sign-off and performance optimisation of commercial email campaigns.
