You’ll be joining a squad, focused on building a ground up platform that will deliver a market leading product in the credit marketplace. We are searching for someone who is a self-starter and can build technologies from 0 to 1 as well as take ownership of projects.

When joining our team, you'll contribute to a global micro-services architecture written in Scala, using functional programming to really provide value to our users. Currently, our micro-services communicate via REST API calls, fostering seamless integration between different services. You will actively participate in our ongoing transition towards an event-driven architecture, utilising Kafka as a core component.

You will be joining:

  • A cross-functional squad, to collaborate closely with Frontend Developers, Mobile developers, Test Engineers and product managers to build new features on one of our apps.
  • A global community of ~50 backend developers from diverse backgrounds.
  • A global team of ~150 developers in ClearScore’s technology function.

We have a learning culture, where everyone is supported in drawing up an annual Personal Development Plan. We are always looking for ways to do things better and encourage new joiners to bring their ideas and ways of working to the table.

Why ClearScore?

We trust you to manage your own time, so we offer flexible work and no fixed desk hours. We don't micromanage and believe in measuring outcomes rather than effort. We have an inclusive culture where all, regardless of seniority, are encouraged to contribute with their ideas, look after their wellbeing and actively seek opportunities for career growth.
