You're in at the front, alongside the Commercial Manager, while contracts are still being shaped: getting the terms right from inception through to signature, then either delivering them yourself or handing them on clean.

What the role actually is A project QS on the major projects side of a multi-utilities business working across power and water.
The core is what you'd expect a good project QS to own: commercial governance, the monthly cycle and month-end, commercial lead for your project manager, compensation events, supply chain management, and CVRs alongside the PM.
Around that delivery sits the front-end work: helping set new schemes up commercially, getting contracts and terms right from the start, and closing out a couple of existing project...
