Our Client is seeking an experienced and passionate Nursery Room Leader in Hammersmith to join their growing Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity for a confident childcare professional looking to take the next step in their career within a supportive and welcoming nursery environment.
As a Nursery Room Leader, you will play a key role in supporting children's learning and development whilst leading by example to inspire and guide fellow team members.
The Role
- Provide engaging and age‑appropriate activities and learning experiences
- Support children’s emotional, social, intellectual, and physical development
- Lead and motivate staff within the room to maintain high standards of care and education
- Ensure children’s learning journeys and records are accurately maintained
- Promote a positive and inclusive environment for children, families, and colleagues
- Support safeguarding, health & safety, and wellbeing practices at all times
- Ensure compliance with EYFS and regulatory requirements
Qualifications & Requirements
- Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (essential)
- Strong understanding of the EYFS framework
- Good knowledge of safeguarding and Ofsted expectations
- Excellent communication skills and fluent English
- All appointments are subject to satisfactory references, an enhanced DBS check, and relevant pre‑employment checks
- Clear understanding of safeguarding children, Prevent, online safety, and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM), or willingness to complete the relevant training prior to starting work
