Role: Warehouse / Distribution Operative Location: Burgess Hill Hours: Monday – Friday (7:30am – 3:30pm) / 7.5 hours per day & 37.5 hours per week Pay: Β£14.91 per hour PAYE (excluding holiday pay) Temporary 6 Months Assignment – Inside IR35 An excellent opportunity has arisen for multiple Warehouse / Distribution Operatives to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation within the global supply chain sector, based in Burgess Hill. Benefits: Competitive and weekly pay + generous holiday pay Join a well-established and high-performing distribution team Work in a clean, regulated, and safety-first environment Ongoing training with opportunities for accreditation (SAP, forklift, IATA) The Requirements: GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English Driving license and vehicle or reliable mode of transport due to remote location Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in stock movement Physically fit and capable of manual warehouse tasks Punctual, reliable, and able to work with urgency Comfortable using IT systems (basic IT skills essential) Team player with the ability to work independently when required Reliable method of transport is essential due to limited public transport in the area SAP WM/EWM experience and Forklift licence (desirable but not essential) IATA or logistics qualification (advantageous) The Role: Accurately pick, pack and dispatch customer orders in line with temperature sensitivity, batch, and expiry details Process urgent, cross-docked, and backordered items promptly Assist with Goods Receipt and the storage of stock in temperature-controlled areas (ambient, chill, frozen) Support with loading/unloading of vehicles and internal material handling Update SAP systems and support daily stock checks Maintain a safe, clean and compliant working environment in line with SOPs, WIs, and SHE policies Liaise effectively with colleagues across departments (Customer Service, QA, Distribution) to achieve operational goals Operate with a patient-focused mindset and consistently deliver with urgency and accuracy If you\’re keen to join an exceptional team who can offer a supportive environment with progression and development opportunities, then please apply to this Warehouse / Distribution Operative role below or call Chloe McCausland at Clearline Recruitment on (phone number removed) between 8:30am – 5:00pm
