An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Service Demand Planning Associate to join one of our longstanding clients, a leading organisation based in Burgess Hill. This role is primarily focused on the day-to-day scheduling and coordination of service resources, with additional support across capacity planning, inventory management and longer-term demand planning. The position requires a hands-on and organised approach, with strong attention to detail, accurate system updates and confident communication across multiple internal and external stakeholders.

The Requirements
- A-level education or equivalent, with GCSEs including English and Maths at Grades A-C or equivalent
- Experience within demand planning, scheduling or resource coordination desirable
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Confident communicator with experience managing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience using CRM, ERP or enterprise systems such as SAP
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a cross-functional team
- Resilient and adaptable, with the ability to handle multiple enquiries and changing priorities
- Previous experience within a technology-led environment, ideally healthcare, would be advantageous
The Role
- Coordinate day-to-day scheduling and planning of service resources
- Monitor demand and supply activity using internal systems and digital tools
- Take corrective action to resolve short-term scheduling conflicts and capacity issues
- Keep customers and internal stakeholders updated on planning changes
- Support weekly demand and supply balance activity
- Assist with medium and long-term capacity planning and service activity forecasting
- Support planning for installations, de-installations and relocations
- Maintain accurate system data to support operational visibility
- Support inventory and logistics coordination, ensuring field teams have the right stock available
- Monitor supply chain changes and communicate potential impacts to stakeholders
- Plan and coordinate out-of-hours service activity when required
- Adhere to defined processes, working instructions and governance requirements
- Highlight recurring planning issues and contribute to continuous improvement
