An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Defect, Risk & Configuration Manager to join one of our longstanding global healthcare clients at their Motherwell site. This role will support multidisciplinary engineering projects by managing defect, risk and configuration processes, ensuring products are developed in accordance with quality and compliance standards.

The Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Systems Engineering or a related technical discipline
- Minimum two years' experience in Defect Management, Technical Risk Management or Systems Engineering
- Experience using SAP for configuration management
- Experience with RETINA or similar ALM/tracking tools desirable
- Excellent facilitation, organisational and communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
The Role
- Manage the defect lifecycle and defect management process
- Moderate defect and risk review boards
- Maintain defect, risk and configuration documentation
- Develop and maintain KPIs, dashboards and management reports
- Apply technical risk management processes across projects
- Create and maintain configuration baselines within SAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams
- Ensure compliance with project governance and quality standards
