An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Technical Writer to join one of our longstanding global pharmaceutical clients on a contract basis until the end of December 2026, outside IR35. This role will focus heavily on documenting SOPs, operational workflows and internal processes, supporting the transition to a scalable and centralised documentation framework.

The Requirements:
- Previous experience writing and maintaining SOPs and operational documentation
- Strong understanding of documentation governance and process management
- Experience within pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences or technical environments
- Excellent written communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to simplify complex processes
- Experience working across multiple teams and managing competing priorities
- Familiarity with documentation systems, shared repositories or documentation-as-code practices advantageous
The Role:
- Create, review and maintain SOPs and operational documentation
- Document workflows, policies and business processes across multiple functions
- Work closely with SMEs to gather and structure technical information
- Standardise documentation templates and formatting
- Ensure documentation is accurate, compliant and easy to follow
- Maintain and update central documentation repositories and policy hubs
- Support process improvement and governance initiatives
- Contribute to the development of a scalable "One Source of Truth" documentation framework
