This job is working for one of the most successful business technologies providers in the UK. Already a huge success with 13 offices, 900 employees and close to a £2,000,000 turnover, there is no sign of their growth or in fact, the IT and telecom industry slowing down and therefore, starting a career with them now, is the perfect time to progress. You will be working within the building, providing food and beverages to various departments / teams. As Kitchen Assistant / Porter you will be responsible for serving on the counter, ensuring all Catering areas are cleaned, stocked and maintained to a high standard, and assisting with service of food and beverage throughout the building. Some of the main duties include: Washing up and general tidying away of equipment within the kitchen and adjoining areas Cleaning of all crockery, cutlery and service utensils, floor Cleaning within the kitchen and the removal of refuse / recycling throughout the day Following the daily routine of set up, close down and cleaning schedule. including regular top up / maintenance of the dishwasher area as a whole Maintain standards of safety and hygiene per legislation and other statutory requirements – all training will be given For you to be successful in this role, you need to be able to perform, well within a busy, high-pressure environment, be a dedicated team-player and demonstrate reliability and self-motivation.
