Responsibilities for an apprentice
- Preparing and compiling background screening documentation and candidate packs
- Supporting screening consultants with administrative tasks and document management
- Maintaining accurate internal records and compliance documentation
- Managing multiple administrative tasks to support deadlines and service delivery
- Ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy across screening activities
- Supporting communication with candidates and clients in a professional manner
- Assisting with internal administrative processes and operational support
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives within the team
Apprenticeship Information
You will be enrolled on the Business Administration Apprenticeship, typically completed over 18 months. This includes:
- Regular workplace-based learning supported by your training provider and line manager
- A minimum of 6 hours per week of off-the-job training
- Development of skills, knowledge, and behaviours aligned to the apprenticeship standard
- Completion of a portfolio and end-point assessment
- Functional Skills support in English or Maths if not previously achieved at Level 2
Prospects
Once you have completed your apprenticeship, there will be the opportunity to potentially progress into a permanent role. There may also be opportunities to develop into account management, client relationship roles, or gain exposure to other areas of the business such as marketing and sales.
