An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Outsourced Senior Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a fast-growing firm providing a full range of accountancy, tax and advisory services, based in Guildford.
This is a senior leadership role where you will provide strategic financial guidance to SMEs and owner-managed businesses, acting as a trusted advisor and supporting business growth and performance.

The Requirements:
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Proven experience in an outsourcing function within an accountancy practice
- Strong experience working with UK SMEs across various sectors
- Commercially astute with the ability to influence financial strategy
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proven experience leading and developing teams
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate financial insights clearly
Desirable:
- Experience supporting business growth, scale-ups or turnaround situations
- Exposure to fundraising, M&A or exit planning
- Experience across sectors such as professional services, technology or manufacturing
The Role:
- Provide strategic financial leadership and commercial insight to clients
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, management accounts and financial reporting
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, VAT and HMRC requirements
- Attend client meetings to review financial performance and provide guidance
- Build and maintain strong client relationships as a trusted advisor
- Identify financial risks and implement appropriate controls
- Collaborate with internal teams including audit, tax and payroll
- Coach and mentor finance teams and outsourced functions
