An excellent opportunity has arisen for a General Practice Assistant Manager to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established and growing professional services firm based in Eastbourne.

Location: Eastbourne

Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours, Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:15). Minimum 30 hours/4 days considered.

Pay: From Β£43,000 per annum (DOE)

  • AAT qualified or part-qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management and multitasking abilities
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general IT literacy
  • Familiarity with general practice procedures, client management, billing and compliance
  • Analytical and problem-solving mindset
  • Able to work collaboratively and support cross-functional coordination

The Role:

  • Provide administrative support including managing appointments and maintaining client records
  • Act as first point of contact for client queries and ensure strong client relationships
  • Oversee basic financial activities such as invoice handling and reporting
  • Organise and analyse practice data for internal use and compliance
  • Support practice leadership with staff scheduling, training and performance reviews
  • Liaise with other departments and external partners as needed
  • Prepare accounts and tax returns for sole traders and limited companies
