Job Title: Field Service Engineer Location: Field Based – Dorset & Hampshire area, with ad hoc visits to Burgess Hill required Salary: £265.27 – £305.06 per day (UMB) Full Time Temporary 12 Month Contract (inside IR35) Are you looking for a role that makes you feel valued, important and offers you the opportunity to make meaningful and transformative positive impacts on people\’s lives? Our client requires an experienced Field Service Engineer to cover the Dorset and Hampshire area. Benefits: 25 days holiday per annum + recognised bank holidays Weekly competitive pay Excellent and supportive working environment within renowned global business Requirements: Degree educated in a relevant biomedical discipline Hardware experience in pathology, particularly Biochemistry / Blood sciences Electro-Mechanical/Photometry/Immunoassay/Preanalytics Previous experience working in a hospital or research laboratory (strongly desired) Proven troubleshooting experience Understanding of the diagnostics industry and working in a multicultural organization (strongly desired) IT literate with experience in CRM and web delivery tools (advantageous) Strong communication skills and resilience in a fast-paced environment Ability to work independently and in a team Full UK/EU driving license and valid passport for overseas training Responsibilities: Provide frontline, on-site application, engineering, or IT technical support to designated customers Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues on-site, ensuring service quality Conduct system installations, commissioning, and go-live support Deliver customer training and maintain training records Identify and escalate complex system failures and complaints Assist the commercial team with product demonstrations and customer meetings Support customers in managing inventory levels and compliance requirements Provide out-of-hours telephone support when required For more information about this Field Service Engineer role, please contact Chloe McCausland at Clearline Recruitment on (phone number removed) between 8:30am – 5:00pm
