An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Night Electrician to join one of our growing clients, an exciting and established organisation in Haywards Heath. Due to the site's remote location, candidates must have their own means of reliable transport (ideally a driver with their own car or motorcycle).
Benefits
- 4 nights per week
- £207.93 weekly shift allowance
- £7.74 daily production bonus paid at month-end
- Opportunity to work with a variety of electrical and mechanical systems
- 3 x 30-minute breaks per day
- All PPE provided
The Requirements
- 18th Edition qualified
- NVQ in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering
- Due to site's remote location, candidates must have their own means of transport
- Experience with automation and three-phase systems
- Logical approach to fault finding
- Demonstrable experience in electrics and mechanical systems (multi-skilled)
- Previous manufacturing environment experience (desirable)
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Commitment to health and safety
The Role
- Work with a wide range of systems including electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic
- Follow PPM systems and company isolation/lock-off procedures
- Complete all day shift work instructions and report accordingly
- Develop plant knowledge and ensure good housekeeping
- Self-manage and prioritise tasks to support production start-up
- Maintain a high standard of safety awareness
