An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Experienced Payroll Administrator to join one of our longstanding clients, a well-established and growing organisation offering a supportive team environment and strong development opportunities, based in Brighton.
Location: Brighton (office-based with some hybrid flexibility)
Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours Monday-Friday (minimum 30 hours / 4 days considered)
Pay: £28,000 - £32,500 per annum (DOE)

The Requirements:
- Strong numerical and data entry skills
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate record-keeping
- Competent Excel user
- Ability to work methodically and manage a busy workload
- Confident communicator across all mediums with colleagues and clients
- Comfortable problem solving and using own initiative
- IT-savvy and confident learning new systems
- Reliable, organised, and able to prioritise effectively
- Minimum 5 GCSEs A-C including Maths & English
- Legal right to work in the UK
The Role:
- Process end-to-end payroll across a range of client accounts
- Maintain and update payroll records accurately
- Calculate part-month pay and holiday entitlements
- Manage statutory payments
- Process P45s and associated payroll documentation
- Liaise with clients, resolving payroll queries and providing clear explanations
- Administer pension schemes across multiple providers
- Work with payroll software including Sage, STAR and Xero
