Job Description Role: Trainee Accountant Hours: Full-time An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Accountant to join one of our longstanding clients, an established and growing accountancy practice, based in Bexhill. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or A Level leaver looking to begin a professional career in accountancy. You will support experienced Managers and Partners across a varied portfolio of clients while studying towards an AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification, depending on your chosen training pathway. Professional study support towards AAT, ACCA or ACA qualification ~ Excellent opportunity for a graduate or A Level leaver to begin a career in accountancy ~ Hands-on experience across accounts, tax and bookkeeping ~ Structured professional development and long-term career progression Minimum 2:1 degree or higher for candidates applying for the ACA or ACCA training pathway A Levels at A*, A or B, or equivalent Distinction*, Distinction or Merit grades in relevant subjects, for candidates applying for the AAT pathway Confident using IT and digital systems Flexible, positive and responsive approach Enthusiasm for developing a long-term career within accountancy Support Managers and Partners with the preparation of statutory financial statements Work across accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders Assist with personal, partnership and corporation tax returns Provide bookkeeping support and accurately record financial transactions Complete control account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Carry out bank reconciliations Support account submissions to HMRC and Companies House Assist with filing statutory and client account documentation Maintain confidentiality and data security when handling sensitive information If you're keen to join an exceptional team who can offer professional qualifications, hands-on accountancy experience and excellent long-term career development, then please apply to this Trainee Accountant role below or call Jamie Watson on between 9:00am - 5:30pm.
