Location: Lewes, East Sussex

Hours: 25 hours per week (Monday - Friday, 15:30 - 20:30)

Pay: £12.50 - £13.00 per hour

An excellent opportunity has arisen for multiple part time Assembly Operators to join one of our longstanding clients, an exciting manufacturer based in Lewes, East Sussex, due to an extensive period of business growth.

The Requirements:

  • Keen attention to detail
  • Exceptional organisational skills and ability to multitask
  • Flexible and positive attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Experience using hand tools (e.g. crimp tools, wire strippers, powered screwdrivers)
  • Soldering, cable preparation, and crimping experience
  • Awareness of health and safety protocols
  • Ability to follow engineering documentation and procedures
  • IPC/WHMA-A-620 Training (desirable)
  • Ability to inspect or test products (desirable)

The Role:

  • Assemble standard products to the required quality and output levels
  • Maintain critical quality requirements and aim to improve build times
  • Support other production areas when needed
  • Maintain a tidy and organised workspace
  • Attend improvement meetings and contribute to team efforts
  • Operate materials handling equipment when required
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines and report hazards
