Location: Lewes, East Sussex

Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: £15.50 per hour + holiday pay

Contract: Temp to perm

Weekends: Flexible hours available giving days off during the week

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a 360 Material Handler Driver to join one of our longstanding clients, a busy facility, in Lewes. This is a temporary to permanent opportunity suited to an experienced operator with strong health and safety awareness.

The Requirements:

  • Valid CPCS or NPORS certification for 360 Material Handler operations
  • Experience operating 360 material handlers such as Fuchs, Liebherr or Sennebogen (wheeled vehicle)
  • Strong awareness of safe operating procedures
  • Good technical understanding of heavy machinery
  • Comfortable working outdoors in industrial environments
  • Previous recycling, waste, or ports experience desirable

The Role:

  • Safely operate 360 material equipment
  • Load, unload, sort and stack materials including scrap metal, waste and timber
  • Feed processing equipment such as shears and balers
  • Organise and manage stockpiles across site
  • Complete daily machine checks and report defects
  • Maintain accurate records where required
  • Follow all health and safety and traffic management procedures
