Job Summary
Support construction teams on site, helping maintain safe, tidy and efficient working areas. You’ll assist skilled tradespeople with a range of tasks and follow site instructions and safety procedures.
Duties
* Prepare work areas, move materials and keep tools and walkways organised.
* Use hand tools and power tools safely when carrying out assigned tasks.
* Assist with general construction work, including carpentry, masonry, plastering and construction painting.
* Support tasks involving roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical work and fabrication, as directed by qualified tradespeople.
* Follow schematics and instructions, and report hazards or issues to the site supervisor.
Experience
* A valid CSCS card is required.
* Previous construction experience is useful.
* Familiarity with hand tools, power tools or any of the listed trades is welcome; experience across every area is not required.
* A safety-conscious, reliable approach and willingness to work as part of a site team are essential...
