Our client, a leading contractor within the [fit-out / refurbishment / construction] sector, is seeking an experienced Planner to join their growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, coordinating, and monitoring project programmes, ensuring delivery on time and within budget. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated planner to take ownership of a variety of projects and work within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities * Develop, maintain, and update detailed project programmes using industry-standard software (e.g., Asta Powerproject, MS Project). * Coordinate with project managers, site teams, and commercial departments to ensure project schedules are accurate and achievable. * Analyse critical paths and provide clear progress updates, forecasts, and mitigation strategies. * Attend project and client meetings, providing planning expertise and support. * Integrate subcontractor programmes into the overall project schedule. * Prepare preliminary programmes and methodologies to support tender submissions. * Identify risks, delays, and opportunities, ensuring effective project control and reporting. Skills & Experience Required * Previous experience as a Planner within construction, fit-out, or refurbishment. * Proficient in Asta Powerproject (preferred) and/or MS Project. * Strong understanding of construction sequencing and methodologies. * Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. * Confident communicator, able to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders. * Experience supporting tender programmes desirable.
