We are looking for three highly skilled and reliable Groundworkers for an immediate start on a large-scale industrial concrete plant project based in Wellingborough. This is a fast-paced environment requiring operatives who can hit the ground running and work as a tight unit.
The Role:
- Covering all aspects of groundworks, with a heavy focus on the robust civil engineering required for an industrial concrete facility.
- Deep drainage, pipe laying, and installing service ducts.
- Setting up for heavy civil works, including shuttering, formwork, and reinforcement (rebar) tying.
- Preparing foundations, slab preparation, and assisting with large-scale concrete pours and finishing.
- Kerb laying, edgings, flagging, and finishing trades.
- Working safely alongside heavy plant machinery (excavators, dumpers) in a busy industrial zone.
Requirements:
- Valid CSCS Card (Essential - Blue Skilled Worker preferred).
- Proven Experience: Must have a strong background in all aspects of groundworks, specifically on commercial or industrial civils projects.
- Tools & PPE: Must have your own standard hand tools and full orange/yellow high-vis PPE suitable for a major civils site.
- References: Must be able to provide two checkable work references demonstrating your groundworks capability.
