We are seeking skilled Electricians and Improvers with strong experience in electrical containment systems. The role involves the installation of cable containment such as tray, trunking, basket, and conduit on large commercial and/or industrial projects. The ideal teams will work safely, accurately, and efficiently to high industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install electrical containment systems including:
  • Cable tray, basket, and ladder
  • Trunking (metal 25mm)
  • Conduit (EMT, rigid, PVC)
  • Measure, cut, bend, and secure containment accurately
  • Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and layout plans
  • Ensure containment routes meet design specifications and regulations
  • Work alongside other trades to coordinate installations
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship and site cleanliness
  • Comply with health & safety regulations at all times
  • Identify and report issues or deviations from drawings
  • Assist with cable pulling and general electrical works when required
  • Skills & Experience

    • Proven experience in electrical containment installation
    • Strong knowledge of containment systems and fixings
    • Ability to work from drawings and specifications
    • Competent in the use of hand and power tools
    • Good problem-solving and time-management skills
    • Ability to work independently or as part of a team

    Qualifications & Requirements

    • Recognised electrical qualification
    • ECS / JIB / CSCS card
    • IPAF is essential
    • Knowledge of current electrical regulations
    • Full PPE and own tools

    Working Environment

    • Commercial construction site
    • Working at height
    • Long term project through to June '26 and beyond.
