We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a successful regional main contractor delivering projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, residential and public sectors.
Responsibilities
- Manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion.
- Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
- Ensure design information is delivered on time and to programme.
- Review technical drawings and design submissions.
- Identify and manage design risks and buildability issues.
- Support project delivery and pre-construction teams.
Requirements
- Previous Design Manager experience with a main contractor.
- Strong technical and construction knowledge.
- Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Full UK driving licence.
