We are seeking an experienced Design Manager to join a successful regional main contractor delivering projects across the education, healthcare, commercial, residential and public sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the design process from pre-construction through to project completion.
  • Coordinate consultants, subcontractors and project teams.
  • Ensure design information is delivered on time and to programme.
  • Review technical drawings and design submissions.
  • Identify and manage design risks and buildability issues.
  • Support project delivery and pre-construction teams.

Requirements

  • Previous Design Manager experience with a main contractor.
  • Strong technical and construction knowledge.
  • Good understanding of Building Regulations and construction processes.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
